Ferry Booking & Ticketing Software

Connect each ticket check to its journey.

Use ticket scanning to check an issued ticket at the point where it is presented. Staff see the app result and can refer a ticket that needs attention to the appropriate team.

Issue a ticket that can be checked

Travelmanager can generate an English online ticket with a machine-readable code. The document can include the journey, passengers and the information selected in your ticket template.

From issued document to control result

The ticket gives the traveller a portable reference to the booking. The control app uses the selected departure as the operating context. Staff should read the returned result, not interpret a readable code as automatic permission to board. If the code cannot be read, ticket lookup and the agreed exception process provide the next steps.

  • Keep the journey identifiable on the ticket
  • Choose the correct departure in the app
  • Use lookup when the code cannot be read

Scan in the correct operating context

Select the relevant departure in the control app. Train staff to distinguish an accepted ticket from a wrong-journey, already-used or other review result supported by their configuration.

Handle exceptions deliberately

When a code cannot be read, use the available ticket lookup and your fallback procedure. Decide who can resolve a changed booking or disputed admission. Scanning a ticket does not itself replace identity or travel-document checks.
