Define how cars, trailers and freight vehicles contribute to the required length. Use the dimensions relevant to your vessel and fare model rather than a single generic vehicle quantity.
A combined car-and-trailer length is useful for a configured booking check. It does not describe the entire physical loading arrangement. Width, height, lane placement and operating restrictions may still matter to the loading team. Keep the commercial space calculation and those operational decisions connected without treating one as a substitute for the other.
Passenger availability and length-based vehicle availability are separate checks in the applicable setup. Review the effect of a longer vehicle or additional trailer when a booking is changed.
